Important Route Information
The starting points for the Grand Parade is located at NORDKRAFT (replacing the only starting point in Vejgaard), NØRRESUNDBY and HARALDSLUND. All routes are gather in the Grand Parade from Borgergade/Vesterbro, and move collectively towards Kildeparken and the Garden Party. It is up to you which starting point you choose to join. Notice the new starting times.
SPECTATORS PARADE ON VESTERBRO
The Main Parade moves along Vesterbro, starting at Borgergade and ends in Kildeparken. Borgergade is the starting point for all international and organized groups. Spectators to the parade are gather along Vesterbro, where they can follow and experience the parade in all its glory.
CROSSWORKS
As a new feature this year, we have place crossworks, so spectators - and pedestriants - are able to cross the streets during the parade. The crossworks are placed at Borgergade, Bispensgade, Vingaardsgade, Hasserisgade og Frederikskildevej.
ENTRANCE TO THE GAREN PARTY FROM VESTERBRO
As a participant in the Grand Parade, you should be aware of the fact that the entrance to Kildeparken is located on Vesterbro, by the European Hall at Aalborghallen. There will be a container for you dispose of you garbage 300meters before the entrance - PLEASE USE THIS!
ENTRANCES IN THE GARDEN PARTY AREA AND KILDEPARKEN
The Garden party area has been expanded this year, meaning that the area across from Kildeparken has been include to the party area. The entrance is placed on Vesterbro, where the parade ends. Should you not want to enter Kildeparken, the exit-area will lead you away from the entrance-area at Prinsensgade and Hasserisgade.It is also possible to gather strength or chill out in the parking area behind Aalborghallen, where it is aslo possible to exit the entrance-area. Furthermore, it is possible to exit Kildeparken using the tunnel leading to the train station.
NOTE: Vesterbro will be block for traffic! All traffic on Hobrovej is possible from Hasserisgade and Kong Christians Allé.
